Celebrating a fantastic milestone for our wonderful students

We’re bursting with joy as we celebrate our latest cohort of incredible graduates from our tailoring course!

This week marked a fantastic milestone for our wonderful students who completed our six-month skills training program.

We embarked on this transformative journey with our amazing long-term partners, Tusitukirewamu, in January 2023.

Since then, we've been honored to provide essential skills to over 180 incredible girls, including child mothers and survivors of violence.

With newfound skills in tailoring, small business management, and basic numeracy/financial literacy, these girls are empowered to earn a living and take charge of their futures.

Our comprehensive training programme goes beyond just skills - we offer childcare, access to girl-friendly healthcare, counselling and mentorship. After completing the course, students take the Department of Industrial Training (DIT) exams, earning an accredited certificate that opens doors to new opportunities!

We couldn't be prouder of their hard work, determination, and the bright futures that lie ahead. Our dedicated team remains committed to supporting graduates, connecting them with local organisations or helping them start their own businesses.
