Women making history: Sarah

Another amazing women to celebrate this Women’s History Month.

Sarah Namaganda is a #womanmakinghistory one child at a time.

Sarah cares for eight children. Her own daughter and seven foster children.

Yet she also volunteers her time to support many more orphaned children in the community, making daily visits to her wards to check on their progress, ensure they have taken their medication and they never miss a hospital appointment.

The family live in small hut made from corrugated iron and mud and with two people to a single bunk bed and two on the floor.

All of the children she looks after are in school, she told us 'Education is everything, our children must go to school so they can all have better lives than this'.
