Whether it’s the horrendous acting, the UFOs that are clearly car hubcaps or dialogue that features such howlers as “Can your heart stand the shocking facts of grave robbers from outer space?”, there is something for everyone to stare aghast - and to make this guilty pleasure even better the Bristol Bad Film Club are donating all the profits from their showing to awamu! Timon Singh and Tim Popple founded the Bristol Bad Film Club because they believe that bad films are best enjoyed as a group and wanted to share the experience with their beloved city.
PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE is routinely voted the ‘Worst Film Of All Time’ by cinema aficionados, there is a lot to enjoy in Ed Wood’s anti-classic.
The film will be introduced by Dr Mark Bould, author of Science Fiction and Film and Literature professor at UWE. He will also conduct a Q&A after the film.
