Covid-19: an update from Kampala

A message from Florence in Kampala.

We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well. We know that this is a worrying time. The weeks ahead are going to be challenging for everyone.

In response to the changing situation, we’ve paused our training courses and closed workshops and classrooms until it is safe to be together again.

Sarah and the team are providing home-work projects for those that are able to work at home so they can continue learning.

The government have closed schools for month. We are looking at ways to ensure children can remain safe and protected during this time and will continue to monitor their health and wellbeing.

Our Community Volunteers will be arming children and families with soap, sanitizer and we are working with Health Officers to make sure our community has the right information to be able to protect themselves.

There are lots of things you can do to make this time better for yourself, your loved ones and those around you. We are in this life together and now is the time to show love to everyone going through this across the world.

We are one.
