Come and see us We thrilled that the lovely folk at We Make London have invited us to be part of the Crafts Trail at this years Thames Festival.

The Thames Festival is London’s largest outdoor arts festival - a spectacular event, free to all, which brings together Londoners of all ages and from all communities to celebrate their city and the River Thames.

We will have lots of goodies including these beautiful africa bird mobiles making their first outing, they're not even on our website yet . . .

When

This will take place on 10th and 11th September 2011 12pm – 10pm both days

Where will we be

The Crafts Trail is located outside Southwark Crown Court by the Thames and HMS Belfast (a short walk from London Bridge Station)

What is the crafts Trail?

A group of independent craft collectives have joined forces to promote crafts and making at Festival, They developing a map for the Trail which allows visitors to discover the huge variety of handmade goods on offer, and learn more about the processes behind them, and have some fun along the way.

We will post links to the map as soon as it is available.

More reasons to visit

The festival commissions new work, and transforms outdoor spaces around the River Thames with a mixture of music (including our friends at the Disco Shed), dancing, street arts, river races, carnival, pyrotechnics, art installations, massed choirs, food and feasting.

The finale is a magical illuminated Night Carnival that winds along the south and north banks of the Thames, followed by a fireworks display fired from the centre of the river itself

We can’t wait!
